Our mission

Mission of LOUDWATER enterprise is development and operation of small hydropower plants on mountain river streams and/or drinking water tanks and reservoirs.

Our purpose and values

  • We believe that we are all responsible for the good stewardship of God’s given natural resources - small hydropower projects have the potenatial to be one of the best demonstrations of such good stewardship
  • We look on the horizon – investment in the renewable energy projects requires a long-term perspective and faith in the small beginnings.
  • We support empowerment for local communities – electricity from small hydropower projects reduces dependence of families and small companies on large monopolies
  •

Our goals

LOUDWATER's goal is to develop small hydropower projects not only in Slovakia, but also in other EU countries of South-East Europe (Bulgaria, Romania), EU candidate countries (Serbia, Croatia, etc.) and other countries with high potential for such development (USA, Canada).

LOUDWATER  symbolism:

LOUDWATER was the river in Tolkien’s middle-earth. The river had power to protect the righteous who were seeking to cross the river and find peace and safety in the fortress of Rivendell.
